We Take A Different Approach

We know... we've seen it. If you've attempted or thought about implementing an EMR or Practice Management system in your practice you can probably relate to the following:

If you're considering EMR/PM:

  1. You've been bombarded by a thousand vendors promising everything under the sun to make "the sale"
  2. You've become overwhelmed by the sheer amount of news and legislation affecting EMR/EHR reimbursements
  3. You've got questions about ROI and how EMR will impact production and efficiency and you don't know where to get answers
  4. You simply don't know who to trust and who has your practice's best interest at heart

If you've attempted an implementation:

  1. The system you purchased is still sitting in a box on a shelf because a vendor made the sale and quickly moved on
  2. You have no idea if the system you currently have is certified and meets minimum use requirements
  3. Your employees need training to ensure you achieve ROI as soon as possible and you don't know where to turn
  4. The physicians in your practice will not change the way they practice to meet the needs of the EMR/PM system

We realized long ago that people running healthcare practices need a true PARTNER in the EMR/PM process to ensure the things above don't happen.  Simply put, it's just too expensive and time-consuming.

We start our process in an unusual way - by actually watching HOW you PRACTICE medicine.  With all due respect, we know people might SAY they practice a certain way, but HOW they practice is often quite different.  We take the time to determine the HOW because it is the foundation to everything that comes later.

Once we know HOW you practice, we then assess current solutions we're aware of and make recommendations accordingly.  We feel this is the single biggest reason EMR/PM implementations are NOT successful.  Too many vendors and solutions require too much change from the provider, and too much change is asking for trouble.  We find providers to be no different than the average person, i.e., they will modify the way they practice if it makes sense, but few if any truly will completely change.

Once we recommend possible solutions, thoroughly discuss these with a partner, and make a decision, we then manage the process for you.  Quite simply, you practice medicine and didn't go to school or train to be an IT/EMR expert - nor do you have the time to learn now.  So why should this be expected of you?  We take this responsibility off your hands and free you up to do what you entered the business for in the first place.

Finally, once an EMR/PM system is implemented, we provide any IT services that might be required.  Believe it or not, most of your IT network is connected and does not operate alone.  In order for success to be achieved, your systems need to work TOGETHER and always be on.
